Watches and Wonders 2025 in Geneva once again set new standards for ladies’ watches. Both technical innovation and feminine aesthetics reached new heights. Whether it’s new interpretations of classic designs, sustainable materials, exquisite gem settings, or exciting complications, many models inspired us this year. The variety on show guaranteed that there were models for every wrist and taste. Once again this year, there was a focus on unisex models, which stood out with their slim proportions and versatile styles. These models appeal both to men who prefer smaller diameters and women who appreciate sportier and sleeker models. The fair clearly showed that the watch world is delivering more and more exciting models for women – and regardless of whether you prefer the art of jewelry or watchmaking, haute horlogerie is as diverse as women themselves! Let yourself be inspired by our selection of highlights!
1. Rolex Land-Dweller

The biggest surprise this year was probably delivered by Rolex with the Land-Dweller – a new model with an interesting dial and open case back. Due to its size and style, this watch is perfect for confident women. The 36-mm version is tailored to meet women’s needs without sacrificing legendary Rolex precision. The Land-Dweller combines a completely newly developed movement with a balanced design. The caliber 7135, with its innovative Dynapulse escapement and 5 Hz frequency, is very robust – and therefore ideal for the active lifestyle of the modern woman. The design stands out with its balanced elegance, which is typical of Rolex, and the new flat Jubilee bracelet with a hidden clasp nestles perfectly on the wrist. Depending on your preferences, you can select a dial with a variation of the characteristic honeycomb pattern. In my opinion, the version with an ice blue dial and diamond indices looks particularly refined. What type of woman is this watch for? For those who value technical perfection without sacrificing style. The Rolex Land-Dweller proves that watches for women don’t have to be small and playful; they can be just as innovative and versatile as their wearers.
2. Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater
My personal dream watch this year was the new Reverso Tribute Minute Repeater from Jaeger-LeCoultre. With only 30 examples worldwide and a correspondingly high price tag, it remains out of reach for me – as it probably does for most of us – but one can dream! What makes this Reverso so special? It combines the iconic reversible design with one of the most beautiful complications of all: the minute repeater. Crystal-clear gongs and special hammers tell the time with the purest sound quality, plus the watch has a power reserve of 48 hours – that’s perfection for me. The design is, as is typical for Jaeger-LeCoultre, pure elegance. The dial in a warm rose gold tone features a fascinating barleycorn guilloché that is intricately hand-finished with multi-layered grand feu enamel. Thanks to its slim profile of just 12.6 mm, it sits perfectly on any wrist. For me, this is a piece of horological perfection that may be matched elsewhere, but never surpassed.
3. Grand Seiko SBGW323
Once again this year, Grand Seiko captivated me with its beautifully crafted dials, and the SBGW323 is no exception. Inspired by the official blossom of Iwate Prefecture, this timepiece shines in a unique and refreshing shade of purple and also features the classic Mount Iwate dial pattern. With a diameter of 36.5 mm, the model is timelessly elegant and also ideal for slimmer wrists. Anyone who knows Grand Seiko knows that they don’t do things by halves when it comes to technology. Inside the SBGW323, you’ll find a reliable manual caliber with a 72-hour power reserve and an accuracy of -3/+5 seconds per day. Thanks to a depth rating of 10 bar, the watch is a versatile everyday companion and guaranteed eye-catcher.
4. Piaget Sixtie
The Piaget Sixtie was a definitely a highlight among women’s watches at Watches and Wonders 2025 – and probably the most fascinating reinterpretation. This watch pays homage to the iconic designs of the 1960s and pulls off a perfect symbiosis of retro charm and modern elegance. The trapezoidal case (29 x 25.3 mm) stands out with its asymmetrical shape and slim profile of just 6.5 mm, which is made possible thanks to a quartz movement. With its compact size and unusual design language, the Sixtie proves that watch design can be both artistic and wearable. This watch is a statement piece that is suitable for everyday wear and a highlight for all collectors and lovers of stylish 1960s revivals.
5. IWC Ingenieur Automatic 35
As of this year, the IWC Ingenieur is also available in a smaller size that is particularly suitable for women. With its slim 35-mm case and height of just 9.44 mm, it offers perfect ergonomics for slimmer wrists, yet exudes the flair and robustness of a sports watch. The iconic grid dial, inspired by Gérald Genta’s design from the 1970s, is particularly elegant thanks to its geometric precision and fine appliqués. The caliber 47110 is both technically and visually impressive with a 42-hour power reserve and visible decoration through the sapphire crystal case back. The combination of satin-finished and polished surfaces and the integrated bracelet underline the watch’s exceptional craftsmanship. The Ingenieur Automatic 35 is a must-have for ladies who value both technical finesse and aesthetics.
Final Thoughts
Watches and Wonders 2025 proved that the world of watches is a world of ladies’ watches. With a focus on smaller diameters and an increasing variety of unisex models, the selection for women is steadily growing. These developments also show that the industry is adapting to the diverse needs and wishes of female consumers. We’re already looking forward to what next year will bring!
